Rhyming Poem

Methamphetamine
by: Cecilia Banh (2009)

Meth takes over your life so why don't you just have your wife kill you with a knife?
Crystal meth is like pistol death and it causes you to have bad breath.
It can be done by anyone, even a nun trying to have some fun.
And anywhere, it's not rare people dare to share 'cause they swear they don't care.

So Glass my ass, that choice would be my last, I would definitely pass.
The sight is white, light it at night and you might start a fight.
The taste is bitter, it's a good time to be a quitter so you won't be a hitter.
If you do become an addict, I predict your mom, by you, she'd be kicked.

Crank is like a prank, makes you lose money in your bank, then you go blank.
You'd get a rush or a flash, when you run out of cash, better stash your dope in the trash.
Euphoria or a high, your lips will dry, dilated eyes, and your brain will fry.
Then you imagine bugs like a slug not on the rug but in your skin like under your chin.

Ice is not nice, take my advice or pay the price.
You won't eat, then your mom would get beat and on your wife, you would cheat.
You won't sleep, since drugs aren't cheap, you start to weep looking like a creep.
At least you'd lose weight but you won't think straight and you'd be late to your date.

If you smoke Tweak, you are not unique but a freak that's too weak to even speak.
Your body would numb; you won't be your mum's sugar plum but a dumb scum.
Your body would sweat; you'd regret that you can't forget that you're upset.
You crave and misbehave, you can't be saved from digging your own grave.

If you precede the need for Speed, in life you won't succeed.
Since you're hooked, you look at the book that you took and begin trying to cook.
Then your pathetic lab explodes the toxic loads onto the environmental roads.
Dirty and ain't purdy, no need to dress up for Halloween 'cause you look so unclean.

It's not a shock that Chalk slows your clock, making it hard for you to walk or talk.
It's not a joke that when you smoke, you can provoke hyperthermia heat stroke.
When you inject, expect your life will be wrecked, where's your self respect?
If you ignore, you're not hardcore, you're just immature. Be smart, don't start.

Mr. Neumz's Human Anatomy Class
Also by: Cecilia Banh (2009)

I was walking with my feet down the street in the heat,
found a seat, ate my treat, and made a sweet beat,
And here I go, not a pro, but I'll make it flow,
See that hoe gettin' low at the show? So?
I don't know, bro, but I like yo afro!

My Bedroom

My bedroom is a remodeled SHED but it is the size of a GARAGE! I painted the ceiling with clouds to look like the sky in the day when the lights are on and then stuck glow-in-the-dark stars all over to look like the sky at night when the lights are off. I also folded over 300 stars by cutting white printing paper into strips, then folded them, painted them different colors, strung them, and hung them evenly.

Art Contest

I won a bicycle from the Earth Needs Love Art Contest at WSUTC in 2011 with my painted board, 3D poster, nature photography, rhyming poem, and my favorite earth quotes from students, faculty, and staff. I also learned how to ride a bike for the first time that year. I don't have the original photos anymore sorry bad quality.

U4EA

U4EA+Capital - "Remember The Name" (official video) - DVNT SOCIETY

U4EA also known as Brian Belts has been my best friend since middle school. Yes, I am in this music video dancing and I can't dance to save my life but it's still pretty funny and the song is really catchy though. At first, I went over to their house to hang out with his sister, Heather, but then I ended up doing this. Their brother, Mike, was like 'get down, Cece' and I thought he meant 'move out of the camera shot'.

Art Gallery

Today, my class went down to the Art Gallery at school. My favorite one was a picture made out of cut and paste magazine images. I love how well everything goes together with the mercury in the hand and the waterfall dripping underneath.
Other works were black and white pictures taken with an iPhone by a Fine Arts professor, Sena C. Creston. She mentioned that it's easier taking pictures without people looking at her weird because she's not holding a giant bulky camera.
I think everyone else's favorite was the light box. I thought it was pretty cool too because I think it looks like the light is actually shining out of the picture. Here is Brian M. Gomez drinking coffee and appreciating the beautiful art piece.

Columbia Center Mall

Even though our mall always closes really early, doesn't this photo make it look like an attraction for night life? I resized it small so I could upload it but it's original size was about 30 MB and it's taken with the camera on my phone! So all you people with new iPhones and Instagram accounts can eat my dust.. lol jk :P!

'Sexy' Character Cups

My 1 Hour Photo project for Doug Gast's Print Based Media class..
Look at how excited Mushi is to have friends visiting lol :D! ---->
Xenial means hospitable..  it was hard to find an adjective that starts
with an 'x' so that the subliminal message would spell 'sexy'..
Above is my first photo taken but my professor did not like the white background

Kristin Tercek

Pink Eye
This may be my new favorite artist. Graduated from NYU film school, she started Cuddly Rigor Mortis LLC, hand making plush dolls of her own creation. After 3 years of sewing the same patterns, she felt the need to expand her set of characters and decided to paint Cuddly characters including food, real and imaginary animals, and charming botanical. Enjoy below, ugh so adorable!

Camilla d'Errico

The emotive and eloquent artist is addicted to Saturday morning cartoons and comics and can't live without water soluble oils, green tea lattes, Hello Kitty merchandise, and her daily fix of manga and anime. Growing up, she doodled sexy damsels and dragons on her textbooks and developed her own unique characters, Tanpopo and Helmetgirls. Some of her beautiful work style...

The self taught artist style of work is greatly influenced by a combination of manga, folk art, vintage illustration and modern design. She has dedicated to each piece by mixing pigments and mediums to achieve a unique color palette of subtly muted tones. Her delicate works of acrylic, watercolor, and pencil...
